Netsens is an Italian company that has been producing systems for agriculture, meteorology, environment and infomobility since 2004. Netsens has its headquarters in Calenzano (Florence), in a factory owned just a few minutes from the motorway exit, where the production and logistics activities, as well as the administrative and technical ones, are carried out.
The company has been operating since 2015 with a quality system certified according to ISO 9001: 2015 and environmental certification ISO 14001: 2015, and is notified for the production of equipment according to the ATEX standard and with the MET quality mark.
All Netsens products are designed and manufactured in Italy, with the guarantee of over 15 years of activity and hundreds of prestigious installations in Italy and abroad, kept in perfect working order thanks to extensive remote and on-site technical support. Netsens has an internal technical staff that covers the design and development of hardware (analogue, digital, radio frequency electronics), software (microprogramming, middleware, database, web applications) and mechanical design. In addition, through agreements with research institutions, it is able to make use of specialized consultancy in the field of radio frequency systems and basic technologies for the construction of physical and chemical sensors.

Netsens products are the result of constant investments in Research and Development, also supported by participation in important national research programs, and have obtained numerous awards including 3 recommendations as Technical News at the EIMA international fair.

AGRO - METEOROLOGY AREA

Thanks to the long experience gained from over 2500 systems installed, Netsens is the Italian leader in the production of systems for Agriculture 4.0, and offers a wide range of innovative and reliable solutions, from traditional MeteoSense stations, to VineSense and AgriSense IoT systems, with long range wireless sensors, up to the most advanced WiSense irrigation remote control systems.
Netsens, among the first companies in the world to create wireless systems for agriculture in 2005, is aimed at agricultural companies, consultants, consortia and producer organizations. Netsens products allow a sustainable management of agricultural crops, both for the company’s phytosanitary management, and for the correct use of water resources.

A sector of excellence is represented by monitoring in viticulture, where Netsens can count as customers 25% of the Grand Crus of Italy, 50% of the companies with the highest turnover and about 30% of the Italian companies present in the main international rankings.

INDUSTRIAL METEOROLOGY, ENVIRONMENT, INFOMOBILITY AREA

Netsens produces and sells systems for wireless data acquisition and transmission, offering the related installation, maintenance, and IT services for data processing and presentation in the Cloud environment.
The products offered are largely based on proprietary technologies and projects, integrating components of qualified and selected third parties, where necessary to complete the technical and commercial proposal. In over 15 years of activity Netsens has carried out important orders in the professional meteorology sector, monitoring networks, access control and environmental early warning systems.
With the MeteoSense PRO product, Netsens offers “turnkey” solutions to create both meteorological and environmental monitoring networks, for professional needs in the field of air quality measurement, road meteorology and hydrological measurement systems, with the experience gained in close contact with important Italian industrial companies.

Netsens also produces ground-based equipment for access control in Telepass® standard, both for toll and traffic flow control applications. Among the main clients we can include: ANAS, Autostrade per l’Italia, Autostrade Tech, ENAV, ENI, Leonardo, RFI, as well as many public administrations and national research centers.
