Automated irrigation

WiSense is the advanced system that combines monitoring on the ground and remote management of the irrigation system.

AUTOMATED IRRIGATION AND WATER SAVING

WiSense is the key to water saving owing to ongoing climate change whose need is rapidly growing .

The Netsens WiSense 2.0 control unit controls the valves of the irrigation system, either via cables or by radio, detects the flow and pressure of the various sectors, controls the operation of pumps and automatically warns in case of anomalies; it is managed from the website or app.
What’s more, thanks to integration with Netsens IoT technology, it can also read data from all sensors on the ground (weather, climate, soil) and automatically schedule the irrigation sessions, thus reducing water consumption.

Control via website and LiveData app allows for main operations to be carried out remotely: irrigation activation and controlaccording toschedule(daily or, weekly), thresholds setting (soil humidity, rainfall, temperature, leaf wetness etc) for dynamically controlling sequential sessions and variable irrigation rates depending on water need. It is also possible to set automatic alerts in the event of anomalies or lack of programming.

WISENSE 2.0 - HOW IT WORKS

WiSense can be installed either in new or already existing plants, and can operate most of available valves on the market.
It is power supplied either by ac voltage or solar panels.
Management is by PC or LiveData app, with the option of using specific DSS models for irrigation, which automatically calculate the water needs of the crop according to field data, soil type and irrigation system.
