Wireless on-field communication
Netsens develops and produces its own wireless devices for data detection and communication. Basing on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) technology, these units consist of battery-powered distributed wireless modules, that can acquire data from sensors in the field.
Netsens is also a leading pioneer in this field: since 2004 it has developed proprietary WSN platforms, hardware and software solutions based on innovative and designed for intensive use and not for academic or experimental purposes only.

Optimization of RF communication
The high communication range of wireless communication devices allows for easy installation and high reliability, also, miniaturization of components allows a low impact in the field, even where highly automated agricultural production solutions are adopted.

Interchangeability of sensors and redeployment of units in the field
