Netsens s.r.l. is a manufacturing company of wireless systems for distributed monitoring. It was founded in 2004, winning the selection of the notice for admission to Incubatore d’Impresa di Firenze.
It is currently headquartered in Sesto Fiorentino (Osmannoro industrial area), where both administrative and operational facilities (including design and assembly / test) are present.
Products and applications
Netsens produces distributed systems for environmental monitoring, infrastructure monitoring and precision agriculture. Thanks to reliable and mature technologies, data collected from distributed systems are available on any computer accessing the Internet, anywhere in the, without requiring the installation of any specific software.
Applications include water management, remote control of irrigation and chemical treatment of crops, assessment of microclimatic parameters, on spatial and temporal scales not avaliable with conventional technologies.
Netsens systems are continuously improved adopting state-of-the-art technologies. Their stand-alone features does not require any supporting infrastructure, such as communication or power supply resources.
Environmental real-time monitoring
By integrating proprietary communications GPRS / UMTS platforms and Wireless Sensor Networks architectures, Netsens offers a wide range of modular, easy-to-install systems, without any need for communication infrastructures or power supply. A wide choice of products are available, ranging from professional ultimate applications to advanced home user.
Infrastructure and transportation monitoring - Infomobility
Netsens has developed and installed state-of-the-art monitoring systems for continuous and real-time monitoring of critical parameters related to infrastructure and transportation. Netsens systems are designed for continuous operation and reduced maintenance in harsh environments and difficult access areas.
