Proper irrigation management, providing the necessary water to the plant, reduces production costs (saving water and electricity), leads to more lush plants with more fruits, respects the environment and conserves groundwater. 
Netsens products on Agriculture allow to measure the amount of water supplied to the plants operating from the comfort of home the opening and closing of irrigation systems. 

The use of soil moisture sensors (at one or more depths) allows to know the percentage of water in the soil according to different cultures and different soil compositions can determine the values of moisture to activate or deactivate irrigation system.  With simple and intuitive graphical interface you can set the desired thresholds: soil moisture can be maintained in a desired range, avoiding stress on one side and excessive and unnecessary water on the other. The soil moisture sensors used with the system for remote valves management WiSense allow to automate irrigation according to the real needs of plants. Without downloading any software, but only through the graphical interface control, you can vary the timing and modalities of the irrigation system, from the comfort of home or travelling.

The soil moisture sensors can be used with all types of irrigation systems, since the sensor measures the percentage of water present in the soil, independently from the irrigation system.
Remote management of irrigation can be applied to all the most common types of valves (12 V AC and DC, 24V AC and DC).
